Summer Drum and Fun
There is nothing like the feeling you get drumming in a group. Come join Linda Rohrer for four days learning basic skills, rhythmic songs, and ways to improvise and create. You will have many opportunities to express yourself in this class. No experience or equipment needed. Conga style drums provided.
Classes will meet in the Stiefel Theatre Watson Room.

Minimum 4, Maximum 20
Ages 7 to adult
Percussion and string instruments for use in class will be provided by the instructor
Steady beat, understanding rhythm patterns, song structures, short melodic phrases involved in making music
Playing in a group, working together, understanding each instrument's role and collaborating with other musicians.
Players will create their own patterns, rhythms, and melodies and improvise within a song's structure
