Welcome to this exciting group piano class, tailor-made for musicians with prior piano experience! This class is designed to meet the students at their level of proficiency whether that be in Level 1 or Level 2 piano books. This engaging class is perfect for students who are eager to take their skills to the next level. Our instructor will guide you through more challenging pieces, as well as help you refine your technique and musical expression. Please bring your past piano music with you to class. Whether your goal is to perform or play for personal fulfillment, this group piano class will nurture your talents and ignite your passion for music even further.

Classes will meet in the Stiefel Theatre Green Room. The last class will be a recital on the Stiefel Stage on Tuesday, April 15. (There will be no class on Monday, April 14).

Materials Required:

The Stiefel has 6 Yamaha keyboards for students to use in class. Each student will have their own keyboard with headphones. Access to a piano or keyboard is needed for at home practice.

Students, please bring past piano music books with you to the first class. Suggestions for lesson books will be made after the instructor and student visit about one’s piano goals.

●Correct use of Finger Numbers

●Simple Time Signatures

●Hand Cross Over

●Reading Treble Clef and Bass Clef Notes
