As a nonprofit performing arts center, The Stiefel Theatre averages about 45 events each year, attracting approximately 40,000 patrons to Downtown Salina. The Stiefel prides itself on presenting a broad array of programming creating a reason for everyone in our community and region to take a seat and take in a show. The variety of what we present creates sponsorship possibilities for businesses of all kinds. We will work with you to design a sponsorship package unique to your business and its goals, whether you’d like to attach your name to a single event, a series, special events or capital improvements. Endowment
The Stiefel Theatre Endowment Fund was established several years ago. We hope you may consider the endowment during your estate planning and giving. Not only does a donation to the endowment offer you significant tax benefits in return, but it also provides an opportunity for your generosity to become a tangible legacy, leaving your name on some part of the theatre that was built from the ground up by the generosity of this community.

Fees & Donations
The revenue generated from ticket sales covers the expense of producing each individual show, with the majority of that revenue (typically 75 – 90%) going directly to artist-related expenses including the artist's fee. Beyond the costs of producing events and staffing, we also face considerable ongoing maintenance and capital costs to keep our historic building in working order. Donation contributions from our generous Friends Members and Corporate Sponsors cover a lot, but not all, of our overhead. Ticket fees are charged with ticket purchases to pay for our ticketing system and to cover some of the overhead costs involved in keeping our business open.
